Shared Experience on a Luxury Catamaran
Designed for active explorers who appreciate the extra space and stability of a catamaran and relaxing time on board. Given the prevailing winds during the Greek summer are 90% north (Athens) to south (Paros), then this is going to be downwind sailing fun, probably getting from one island to the next just with the power of the wind. Itinerary
Day 1 Mykonos
Touch down in Mykonos and head straight to the marina to board your home for the next seven days: a luxury catamaran. After meeting your captain, hostess, and fellow travelers, you’ll run through a brief safety orientation before casting off. A short afternoon sail brings you to a calm, protected bay ideal for your first plunge into the Aegean. Wrap up the day on deck with sunset drinks and dinner served on board as you adjust to the easy rhythm of life at sea.
Day 2 Rinia and Paros
Wake up to a quiet morning in your first secluded anchorage. Take an early swim or watch the sunrise from the deck over a fresh breakfast. Next, your skipper sets a course south toward the uninhabited island of Rhenia, famous for its crystal-clear bays. Spend the mid-day snorkeling, paddleboarding, or swimming right off the boat before enjoying lunch on board. In the afternoon, cruise toward Paros, where you can either hike to a coastal lighthouse or catch a tender ride into Naousa’s harbor for dinner on land. End the day back on board, sleeping at anchor under the Cycladic stars.
Day 3 Small Cyclades
Sail further south toward the peaceful Small Cyclades, leaving the busier islands behind. The daily routes stay short and easygoing, blending smooth passages with swim breaks and tender excursions into secluded inlets. Highlights for today include a short trek to a scenic lookout point, a leisurely lunch on deck, and—weather permitting—a snorkel session over a sunken WWII seaplane wreck. By late afternoon, drop anchor in a serene cove or small harbor, concluding the day with dinner served on board or at a local taverna, based on group preference.
Day 4 Slow travel
Spend another unhurried day wandering through the Small Cyclades. By now, you’ve fully embraced the easy routine of life at sea: swimming, eating, relaxing, and exploring. Your skipper will tailor the day’s course to the wind and sea conditions, choosing the smoothest passages and best anchorages. Today’s agenda might include a morning coastal hike, swims in turquoise waters, and plenty of time to stretch out on the flybridge as you cruise. Round out the day with a shared Greek feast on deck or a visit to a seaside taverna.
Day 5 Koufonisia and Naxos
Today features one of the highlights of the Cyclades: Koufonisia. Hop in the tender to explore the island’s scenic south-to-north coastal trail, famous for its pale sands, clear turquoise waters, and peaceful atmosphere. Along the easy walk, you’ll pass natural tide pools, sea caves, and wind-carved limestone formations. Stop for a swim and a relaxed seafood lunch at a local taverna before heading back to the catamaran. Sail onward toward Naxos, with a planned swim stop inside Rina Cave if sea conditions permit. Wrap up the day with a golden-hour cruise before dropping anchor near Naxos Town or in a quiet bay for the night.
Day 6 Explore Naxos
As the largest and greenest island in the Cyclades, Naxos offers a lush, mountain-filled landscape that contrasts with the smaller stops on your trip. Today is set aside for flexible exploration based on weather conditions and group preferences. You can head inland to hike between traditional stone villages, wander the winding alleys of the old town up to the medieval Venetian fortress, or relax on broad sandy stretches of coast. Your crew will share local recommendations to help you craft your ideal day. Reconnect in the evening for a lively group dinner in Naxos Town (Chora), the island’s historic capital and bustling main port.
Day 7 & 8 Delos & final sail
Head north on your final full day at sea, steering toward Delos, the legendary birthplace of Apollo. Weather permitting, take the tender ashore to tour the island’s renowned archaeological ruins, or stay near the vessel to enjoy a final afternoon of paddleboarding and swimming. This last leg is all about soaking in the experience: one more scenic passage, a final plunge into the Aegean, and drinks on deck as the sun sets. Tie up near Mykonos for your final evening, where you’ll gather for a farewell dinner on board to toast to the week’s adventures.
Next morning after an early breakfast, sail back to Mykonos where it all began a week ago. You’ll disembark at Tourlos Port. Your crew can plan a taxi for you to Mykonos Airport for any onward flights, or you can also catch onward ferries (to other islands or to Athens) from Tourlos Port. If you are flying that same day from Mykonos Airport, you’ll need to book a flight departing no earlier than 13:00

Physical rating
The physical demands of sailing trips naturally vary based on the itinerary and activities included. This specific trip requires a moderate level of physical ability, such as navigating around the yacht or managing steps. Participating in any optional multi-activity experiences may involve not only swimming and snorkeling but also hiking, which can significantly increase the activity level. While the hikes are not technical, safe participation requires the ability to walk for 2-3 hours with considerable elevation changes without becoming overly fatigued. Although no prior experience is typically necessary, maintaining a basic level of fitness and mobility will help you fully enjoy the adventure.
Weather
The sailing season features mostly sunny days, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F). Winds are typically steady and predictable but vary by location, offering great conditions for sailing enthusiasts of all levels. The season starts mid-March and finishes at the end of November. Peak of the season is mid-July to end of Aug.
From mid June to start of Sep we have north prevailing winds which can be strong for a few days (eg 2-3 days) in a row. These winds are locally known as ‘meltemi’ and are very predictable. We always adjust the itinerary of the trip to maximize the fun and comfort factor for everyone onboard.
